Did You Know You Are Surrounded by Excitement?!
Did you make it out this past weekend? Maybe you went to a casino, to the mall, or your favorite place to dine. Why do you go to these places? The most basic response will be to gamble, to shop, and to eat. Those are acceptable answers; but, did you ever think that there is more to it than the basics? It may not be consciously realized by patrons, but a lot of work and thought is put into modeling the atmosphere of these venues.
Think of the colors, the decorating, the structure of the walls, the lighting, the music etc. when in attendance. The owners want you to not just buy products and services, but they want you to enjoy your experience in their establishments. For most patrons, when products are equal, it is the experience that brings them back. Most of us are so preoccupied with what we are immediately doing that we don’t take a moment to enjoy the ambience. This is all changing; due to some extraordinary technological innovations, enjoying yourself just became more pleasurable.
The Rise of Technology
High-tech experts are doing some interesting interior decorating. What if your casino had the latest in music and modulated TV systems with video walls and full audio/video integration? How about the ability to interact with this technology via your PDA and cell phones for coupons and giveaways? How about museums with HD 3D Projection theaters with in-house special effects? How about clothing stores with the latest in personalized audio/visual technology? This isn’t the future, this is now.
Technology has improved immensely; so, why can’t it immensely improve our experiences? Owners are giving back to consumers. Owners understand that consumers can spend their time and dollars anywhere, so the atmosphere of the venues at which they do so needs to be dynamite.

Think about going to buy a pair of jeans, but instead of your basic clothing store, you walk into a store with vibrant lighting, a wall of T.V.s, an excellent audio system, and employees communicating via headphones to ameliorate customer service. That’s the kind of place I would like to shop.
Audio visual entertainment technology is adding excitement to our experiences. It is like adding spices to a bland dish; the event becomes more invigorating once the spice is added. Technology is spicing things up!
Fine Dining Decor
I like to go to a restaurant for good food, service, and times with friends. Some restaurants now come equipped with 3D projection, plasma screens, and club-quality sound systems. I would much rather take my good times to a restaurant with that to offer.
Conclusion
Entertainment Technology can improve the surroundings of just about any place imaginable. Why not? It is all part of our evolution. We are making life and the world around us more enjoyable by means of innovation.
