Scope of Work
Design, engineering, fabrication and installation of interactive and theater elements for the Royals Hall of Fame.
Challenges/Solutions
When the Kansas City Royals wanted to create a world class attraction they approached Populous Architects of Kansas City. Populous worked with ETI to design a state of the art electronic environment which tells the teams story through the use of interactive media.
The highlight of the experience for visitors is the, “Dug Out Theater”. In this theater visitors experience firsthand what its like to be in the players dugout This effect is accomplished with panoramic projection, surround sound a variety of show effects.
Veteran all star, “Willy Wilson” remarked:
“This is absolutely amazing, its like sitting on the field.”
The project continues to wow visitors and gain rave review for its innovative use of architecture and electronic mediums.
