Scope of Work
Design and integrate all audio visual equipment at the Chiefs Hall of Honor. Project features four forty foot video screens and three video walls.
Challenges/Solutions
The Chiefs organization wanted to create a family space to honor their history and Hall of Fame inductees. ETI was engaged by the team at Workshop Design to design the audio and video systems.
The challenges were to create a simple interface that could be accessed anywhere in the stadium by a variety of personnel. The project also needed to meet green LEED requirements.
Cloud Computing
Our solution was to provide a cloud based system that allowed staff to control the system via a Smartphone and web interface. This solution has delighted staff members as they do not have to run to a rack room. The whole system control is in the palm of their hands.
Green
The entire system is run with 8 Mac mini computers that consume less than 10watts at rest. The cloud based system cut the wiring cost by 20 percent and in the long term decreases environmental load by using less resources to build and maintain. |
